A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ALONZO:
With his big wide eyes like a lemur, this little chap captured the hearts of our team from Day 1!
After being rescued in 2019, Alonzo has recently suffered another huge upheaval following the death of his elderly owner. After this sad loss, a family member took him in but they had another cat, with whom Alonzo did not get along. We are told that he scratched the human carer, but this was clearly redirected aggression from being stressed by the presence of the other cat, as he isn't normally one for lashing out. With no other cats around, Alonzo is a real sweetie, but he must be the only pet in his new home. We'd also advise no very young children, as he can spook easily.
He absolutely loves his fuss, and is gaining confidence every day, and now he just needs a loving home to call his own where he has safe outdoor access.
All animals at our centre are vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and health checked by a veterinarian.
